Party in the Park was August 13, 2011.  We had a great turn out. Thanks again to all the chamber businesses that made it possible. With our local businesses help we were able to offer to the public  FREE SWIMMING, FREE ACTIVITIES (water slide, basketball shoot), FREE GAMES, FREE MUSIC and a hamburger or hotdog meal (with chips and drink) for only $3.  There were lots of giveaways and games for kids.  This event is always open to the public and everyone is welcome.  Hope to see you all at next years 10th Annual Party in the Park.

      a) Public Events like: Party In the Park, Citywide Garage Sale, Christmas Open House

      b) Advertising Venues like: Chamber Directory, Website

3) The Chamber will help drive the public to your business through:

      a) Marketing Programs like the Shop Local Campaign

      b) Business Referrals: When our Chamber office receives requests for products or services, we give the referrals to our member businesses first!

      c) Events like the Christmas Open House

4) Membership offers social and networking opportunities.

5)  Red Ribbon Cutting: The Willard Area Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cuttings are a great way to introduce the membership and community to your business.  The Chamber will publicize the event and you will appear in our local paper.

6)  A bulk mailing permit is available for member use.  Members must pay for the postage cost and all mailings must be approved in adavance by the executive committee. 

7) Your Chamber keeps tabs on local and state legislative issues that can directly impact our members.

Greenwade Law Firm heralded in the New Year with a ribbon cutting ceremony at their new office.

Join the Chamber and have a Red Ribbon Cutting.

The Willard Area Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cuttings are a great opportunity to introduce the membership to your business and become acquainted with your services. The Chamber will publicize the event (newsletter, broadcast email & fax, press releases to all of the local newspapers) to best optimize attendance. It is never too late to join.Your ribbon cutting picture will also appear in our local newspaper. 

To have a ribbon cutting, a business must join the Chamber.  We will then schedule a date. Most ribbon cuttings are held on Tuesdays or Thursdays for optimal attendance. But the scheduling is done to best accommodate the business' schedule.  Call us for more information.
